Root Help installing TWRP on Sprint H/K

I've been following the root thread and have unlocked the bootloader via htc dev.

I downloaded the twrp recovery img (openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.2-m8_whl) and have moved it to adb folder miniadb_m8.

From the command prompt I try to check md5 sums

[HIGH]c:\miniadb_m8>md5sums openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.2-m8_whl.img[/HIGH]

and get this error
[HIGH]Error: Unable to read file/directory openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.2-m8_whl.img[/HIGH]

Tried changing the .img file name to recovery prior to moving to the adb folder. Doesn't seem to matter what it's named, I can't check the md5 sum. I decided to skip that step and tried the next few steps and got into the bootloader and when I tried to fastboot flash recovery recovery.img it still gave me an error (closed window so didn't copy it.)

Any suggestions?

ps. rooted EVO 4G and EVO 4G LTE via one click methods so this is the first time i've tried rooting with an adb method....

Well, I decided to reboot my laptop and try again and it worked. Classic.

ADB and windows drivers sometimes get a little wonky. It's a good idea to reboot everything once you load up drivers on a Windows machine.

Glad you got everything working though!
