Lurker
Well I had to reboot my phone and lost everything, ( not really thankfully had backup of everything that was important)

Well when my phone was restored im not sure that it kept the update that it had before.

I really don't know much about phone software but i know when you reboot your computer that you have to reload and update everything back onto your computer. Im going by its the same for the phone, well when I go to check for updates for the past 4 months now I keep getting service unavailable. now its starting to get annoying. My market went back to what it look like before and so did alot of other things. Im not even sure if it is or isn't at this point. Any help would be great..

Ill give u information on the phone as far as the software stuff.

andriod version 2.3.3
htc sense version 2.1

The HTC/ATT update you received before was to update the base OS from 2.2.x (Froyo) to 2.3.x (Gingerbread). When you reset (or as you called it, reboot) your phone it wiped out your user data and any apps that you may have installed. However, it did not downgrade the OS back to Froyo. As you noted, it's on android 2.3.3, which is Gingerbread. Therefore there is no official update to be had from HTC/ATT. Some of the stock apps such as the Market may have reverted to a previous version with the reset. That may or may not update itself. You just need to reinstall the apps you want and set up the phone as you normally would.
