Help HELP-Just Got a Stratosphere

I just found this Forum by accident and I'm hoping somebody can help since I can't find much Basic Info. I just got a Stratosphere and was wondering if you Techies could tell me What Changes I should make on the phone and What Apps I should get. I'm a Basic User (Phone, Text and Facebook) BUT I want to be able to do soooo much more. Especially Music. ANY Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you...

I'm a big fan of Google Music.. You can download the app to your phone and then sync your computer using the Google Music Manager.

Don't forget to add apps like Astrid Tasks, any games that fit your fancy, and any apps that you think of as you go through your day. There are apps for almost anything you can think of

Travel? Get GasBuddy to find best gas prices and TripAdvisor to find user ratings on hotels, restaurants, etc.

And my condolences. This is my first smart-phone. It was given to me by my kids for Christmas. It has some real problems, not the least of which are caused by Verizon with the "Fill your phone full of junk apps you can't remove" attitude. I hope future updates fix the bugs.
