Help help just unlocked my pulse mini and it wont dial out to numbers

Hi i just unlocked my t mobile pulse mini and put my vodafone sim into it and it wont let me dial out on it, i try to call people but it cuts off, is there a setting i need to change after i unlocked it?

Has your phone successfully registered on VF's network?
- Check what's shown under Settings/Wireless+Networks/Mobile networks?

If that shows you're connected to VF, then I can't think of anything you should need to change after completing the unlock process.
