Help Help! Keeps opening car dock when I remove from leather case.

I am using a seidio case from my dinc, everytime I remove from my case it opens the car doc screen. How can I get this to stop?

I don't think you can. It's being triggered by the magnet in the case's flap.

I think their is an app that will stop it from opening. I cant remember where I read it tho.

Dock Nothingness (free), or Dock Blocker (paid).

I rooted and renamed my CarDock apks with bak extensions.

I've had three cases, and the first two did that. The Verizon case, which has a magnetic catch, doesn't do that to mine. You could also try a Velcro case.

Can you put the phone in backwards so magnet is on the front without causing damage?

if you mean damage to the screen, I honestly don't know, but I would assume things like that have been tested and are safe.

It should be apparent if something could scratch the screen. I would hope not.
