Root Help...lost root :/

Well for some reason when i restored the backup i made when i first flashed twrp 1.1 during the HTCDev unlock process i lost root....I found this out when i went to restore my apps with titanium backup, it said could not obtain root privileges. Is there any reason this would happen? My phone seems to be working perfectly fine, I'm only asking because im a noob at rooting and would like to know if this happened to anyone else.

I found out I still have S-off. Should I re-unlock the bootloader and if so can i use the same code i got sent to my email during the unlocking process or should i generate a new one??

You are probably just missing the superuser app, try reinstalling the apk. If you did need to re root you would use the same code provided by htcdev the first time.

Did you make that backup before flashing the root binaries (superuser zip) in recovery?

That was the problem i restored a backup that didn't have superuser installed lol everything's working fine now thanks!

yea I made a backup I'm a noob at rooting HTC phones not rooting in general lol
