Root help me decide,battery life

So far i have
adryn_sv_0121 or uv
supah_clean04
anyways i get pretty good battery life but i was wondering if there is anything better to use to get better battery life time i was also thinking of rooting to the newer updates but havent heard about battery life on them yet...

I'm assuming you're still on 2.1. We have various 2.2 roms out right now with pretty good battery life (imo at least), but if you're looking for the absolute best with Eclair:

Any UV kernel is a good choice is your phone can handle it.
