Flash has been on htc phones since 1.6 I think. It worked quite well for browsing sites. I missed that when I switched from the di.

it was only partially there. they just got full flash with the 2.2 update and it SUCKS ASS. it shows up as a little green arrow you have to click on, then it takes about 4-5 weeks to load it

Flash on my Droid 1 works pretty well. Some hicups but I'm happy I have it.

Watched that i*hone embedded YouTube vid from my cell..... pretty cool!

i think i would rather have a little bloatware than drop calls constantly

Is it o.k to jailbroke iOS4.x just like rooting an android?..do not take this as an argument pls..My friend has an iphone and i tried to copy some movies(torrented HD) from my PC to his IP4..I installed itunes and things in my PC but it said it cannot play that file and some of the movies are not even recognised in itunes..after some trying we gave up..
If its easy to jailbrake and restore it back when something happens and claim warrenty then i can ask my friend to do it..
though if its not possible to claim warrenty then I can not suggest him on that

PS: I use HTC desire unrooted with 2.1 and waiting for 2.2

iOS4.0.1 is jailbreakable, but the current 4.0.2 is not. But if he does jailbreak it, then dTunes could probably play those videos that iTunes wouldn't play. Have him check out Apple, iPhone & iPad News | ModMyi.com and SiNfuL iPhone to keep up to date on what versions of iOS have jailbreaks available.

As for the warranty stuff, when the Supreme Court ruled that jailbreaking wasn't illegal, they also said that Apple can't deny warranty claims because the iDevice is jailbroken. But it's really easy to revert it back to stock unjailbroken iOS, just do a restore with iTunes.
