Root Help me not getting the # on $

Help me trying to root my phone and i am not getting the # on $. I get the message permission denied. nothing ever pops up on the phone. i rebooted phone several times and nothing I followed the instructions from LG Optimus M Root 2.2.1 rootd0wn

Hey you should try this guide is a little longer but it should solve that problem.

I got it.... just redid
adb push C:\OptimusRoot\MS690ZV4-root\su /data/local/tmp/
adb push C:\OptimusRoot\MS690ZV4-root\busybox /data/local/tmp/
adb install C:\OptimusRoot\MS690ZV4-root\Superuser.apk


and got the # time first try

i get the # in the root down but when i try to put in
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system
cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/flash_image
chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak
mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-2.2.1-joneidy.img

nothing happens just keeps blinking with the # dont understand cuss ive used this befor and it worked not sure whats going on need help please
