All I wanted was to get app2sd. Really! That's all. It's turned into a big complicated mess now. I have an Ascend and apparently android 2.1.
Gemini App manager tells me it's moved them, but they don't move. So..
Took me about three days to get ROM manager to load properly.
Attempted...more times that I can count..to reboot in recovery mode. It just freezes.
Eventually decided to just free up space (instead of app2sd) by removing bloatware, only to accidentally erase the file to sync to gmail. (because that's MY luck)
I followed all the directions I possibly can find to do a factory reset (including the handy button in the privacy setting) - it just freezes on the first screen & that's it, I have to take the battery out.
When I attempt to do the volume up, send, power - it just turns the power off & nothing different happens. Everything is still there.
And now, I just really really want to just start over. This is frustrating. I'm not "dumb", but this thing is making me feel really stupid. I'm right here, got my phone, got my USB, please please someone help me just go back to default. I'll just live without app2sd at this point.
