Help Help me restore my google contacts

Hey all,

Wiped the phone and messed up my backup. How do I get my contacts back onto my phone from Google?

Thanks for the help. Sorry for the simple question. Sync is greyed out.

hmm, when u log into ur google account when u start ur phone the first time, ur google account is linked to ur phone then.. and ur contacts should sync... even if u dont use android backup service, ur gmail contacts should automatically load to ur phone book.. maybe its still syncing?
