Help me understand this manual update

I have an app that i listed as having a manual update under "my apps".

So how do I update this app? When I click it, I get "open" or "uninstall"


not sure how to update it.

There sometimes is a lag.

Go back a little later and try it again.

Eventually it will work.

Also I have noticed that if you have "Allow automatic updates" checked, sometimes the Market will automatically update an app but the notification still remains in the bar. So when you click the update notification and go to the Market, there's nothing to update. Seems to be a minor bug with this version of Blur.
