Help Help! Message Malfunction!!

Help, I just clicked onto messages, and went to write a message to someone at the bottom of my inbox, and it started to load (screen goes dark/faded and the moving circle appears in the middle to show its loading), the loading only usually takes a couple of seconds but it hasnt stopped! I've tried turning it off and on again but nothing has worked . I can still access everything else if i press the home button, but messages aren't working!

Ahhh, just restarted it for the second time and it seems to have sorted itself out. Sometimes I think this phone is more daft than me.
