Ok I live in Canada and was given a free Milestone from my cousin.
I went to a local phone provider (Canada) and got a simcard and the basic functions of a phone works. (Call, Text etc. etc.). But alot of things like SHOP4APPS, and CityExpress which I assume is the app store and gps doesnt work and is all in Chinese and thinks Im in China.
My question is whether I could somehow get the Canadian OS on the phone? I got the hardware, I just want the software to be exactly identical to the one they sell here.
I tried reseting the phone to factory specs, but all that did was make everything Chinese. I came across thing thing called rooting, but have no idea what it means. Can someone help this newbie here??
