help! multi taking problem

Hey!
I just got my note 2 today ! SUPER excited and i'm pretty in love with it.
BUT.. my multitasking seems to be deactivated for some reason. I've read a few posts already and tried holding down the back button but nothing seems to come out - not even a hovering half circle . Could someone teach me how to activate/enable this function?

The only option i have right now to multitask is to hold the middle menu button to get my "recent apps" history

If you've tried holding down the back button and the multi window tab doesn't appear its entirely possible that your version of the note 2 doesn't yet have that update installed. You may need to either check for the update or wait for your carrier to release it.

If it is installed and not activated, you just got to activate it first. To determine if it is installed drag the notification bar down to expose a number of control icons and scroll to the far left and if the multi window icon is there, then it is installed. Tapping enables and disabled the function. Long press the bottom soft button hides or unhides the tab.
