Help help my evo stops at metropcs screen

hi guys
i have evo 4g flashed to metro pcs and im having a problem when i turn on the phone the metro pcs screen shows up and it stays there and never works
can any one tell me how to fix it
also i dont want to lose my data cuz i have alot of notes and numbers

is your phone rooted? can you get to the bootloader?
