help! my phone is broken?

helo guys maybe u have any idea whats going on to my phone.every time i do a full wipe to my phone in cwmr like in mounts and storage format cache, format data, format system.then hit reboot. after i do this i always get stock on siyah logo and takes forever, it wont do to normal boot up. any idea guys?

and i couldnt even go to the recovery mode. my screen will only show the samsung galaxy s2 then screen went black and if i press anything it will flash the screen white then black, :(

maybe it is because of too much flashing rom? i dont know. how can i post a video? it is 38.9mb file mp4, so that you guys can see whats wrong after i turned it on.
 
You have formatted system, therefore you have erased the ROM.
There is nothing on your to boot up

You have to flash another rom
 
recovery mode is in a totally separate area on the internal sd card to /system

what are you saying, first you say you cant get into recovery, then you can. I'm confused

If you just get a boot loop and can go into recovery mode (VOL-UP+HOME+POWER) then try wiping cache+dalvik, and if this doesnt work flash cf-root, and if this doesnt work re-flash your rom

if you cant get into upload or download mode (VOL-DOWN+HOME+Power) then your pretty much screwed

My guess is you can, but you've not done the key presses properly, as it can be fickle at times.

i cant do all of those hawker. this is what happened after i did wiping cache,wiping data,wiping system. and after the reboot thats it. i cannot use my phone anymore. do u have email? so that i can send u the video of my phone, so that u would see what i mean. ty hawker.
 
Try a soft+hard reset.
if that dont work take your battery out for half an hour.
if that still dont work, then keep trying the key presses. Like I said, it needs to be pretty much exact: VOL-UP+HOME+POWER for CWM Recovery (in that order) or VOL-DOWN+HOME+POWER for download mode, and as soon as you see something come up on the screen, release all 3.

If still no joy then you are buggered. Its a JTag or service centre job.

yes sir. no luck for that i already did that but after the samsung galaxy s2 gt-i9100 show up the screen will get dark and if i press the home buttom the screen blinks with white black and whoti color. can i send it to u the video?coz i coulndt upload here
 
If you cannot get into download mode then there is no point I'm afraid mate. There wont be anything I can do about it

Can you slowly, carefully and precisely, explain the above, the bit in bold type. Also, how did you, "format system"?

As Hawker quite rightly said, you have to hold Volume UP + HOME (Hard key) + POWER (last of all) and continue holding all 3 keys together for about 15-20 seconds until Recovery appears... and THEN release them.
 
hi ironass, thank you and also to hawker. what i did is i go to recovery mode and did wipe data,wipe cache, wipe batt stats, wipe i forgot the other one under advance, and fix permission, then i go to mount and recovery i wipe system, wipe data, wipe cache from there, 2 times for all of them. and then i hit reboot system after booting up i only stuck on the siyah logo.then i did the nandroid back up, and did the full wipe again same process samething happened stuck on the siyah logo. i did the nandroid back up again and then i did the format under settings(phone) on the phone and back up as soon as i hit format now im stuck on sg2 logo. i cant go to recovery mode after that, volume up + home button + power. but i can go to download mode volume down + home button + power. now my question if im in download mode what is the next step i need to do?
 
if you format /system you will lose your rom. This is where the rom resides, so after this point, it will not boot. Once /system has been formatted you need to flash another rom immediately without booting.

As you can go into download mode, i suggest you do the following;

1. flash official firmware via odin. You can get this from SamMobile.
2. when flashed the phone will automatically reboot. Turn the phone off before giving it chance to reboot
3. get back into download mode and flash cf-root kernel. once flashed, let it boot up normally this time.

you should then have a bootable rooted phone and as such, can also get into CWM recovery

Flash a stock ROM to your phone, LPG would be good, so that you at least have a working OS on there. Then you can root it using the, "Dummies Guide" and this kernel, here. Then you can flash a custom ROM if you like.

Then I suggest that youi book another appointment with Hawker and myself. ;)

hi i dont see country USA in sammobile for lpg?i see ireland,france,austria,denmark. is it ok i will pick any of them and install to my phone? here is the link. i hope this is the stock kernel http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3

Right... just do as you are told caloyzki and click on the LPG link in my other post and download and install it using Odin and the instructions Hawker linked you to. Make sure that when it re-boots that you select.. English for the language.

Well, here's a new one... "Be reasonable... do it our way"

The reason, by the way, that you didn't find US ICS firmware for the GT-i9100 is... there isn't any. In the US, in the main, it's a different version, or versions, of the SGSII... like the Skyrocket and the Hercules. Totally incompatible firmware to your phone... which is why I double checked your model... just to be sure! :rolleyes:

and yes, i still owe you aspirin. il send you one box sir, can i have ur mailing address? :)

btw, im not neatrom lite 1.2 now. if i am gonna update it to DXLPBneartom lite, do i still need to flash a new firmware or i just leave the LPG alone?

I'm not bothering with DXLPB, I'm afraid. I don't believe that JKay will do a framework for it and I'm not too sure about the modem included. See my post, here.

I'm sticking with NEAT LITE v1.2 until JKay brings out an LPI framework for XWLPI NEATROM LITE.
