Root Help...nandroid is getting stuck...

Ben... can she install ClockworkMod Recovery through Rom Manager and have it replace Xonia without any issues? (Sushi, do you have Xonia recovery? I thought I read that you did.) I think she would like CWM better.

Yes, I think a brand spankin new thread for Sushi would be better (so she can post what method she used for rooting, what recovery she has etc etc etc).

I don't know if that one is compatible if so yes she can. I've tried 3 and blarfs is the one I use

Oh that's right... she's flashing Harmonia. Yes you are right, she should prolly stick with Xonia.

At least though I know it can be done, so thanks Ben. :)

I love how you guys are talking about me in my thread! LOL!!! Just being cheeky...it's like when my oldest son say, "Don't talk about me, I'm sitting right here!" :)

Starting new thread now....so i hope you don't mind repeating things, LOL

just a couple comments,
I like the IHO roms best but it's mostly because I can't stand the froyo text selector.
Harmonia's market works fine, it's the newest version of market that won't work on harmonia.
You can download a file manager from the market (OI file manager is free and works ok for most purposes) and you can sideload apps with adb install through the cable without a file manager on the phone.
harmonia is better for battery life and runs less stuff in the background than iho.
more settings and eyecandy available for iho than harmonia.
wifi is reccomended for downloads because of speed and bandwidth but 3g downloading is fine.
the BobZhome recovery under alternatives on the iho wiki recovery download page works on new or old ov phones. the new ones have different screen drivers and older recoveries and roms won't show up on screen. the iho recovery at the top of that wiki page only works on older ov's.
I think that's all the comments I have for now...

Is there a way to move info to another thread? I'd love to move your post, Squid, and some of NoName's and Ben's into my new thread just to keep the dialogue all together... Don't know if that's possible?

I have some questions about what you wrote...but didn't want to keep this thread going, LOL...

copy&paste into a shell of a quote
substitute "[" and "]" for "(" and ")" without quotation marks:

(QUOTE=bigsupersquid)paste comment here(/QUOTE)

I'd have typed it right, without the () marks, but then it'd show up as an actual quote box instead of a how-to-type-it example.
