afiyy

Lurker
i really need help on those Root Gurus out there.

Android Version : 4.0.3

Baseband Version : N7000XXLPT

Kernel Version : 3.0.15-Franco Kernel francisco@franscisco #5 SMP PREEMPT

Build Number : KingDroid NoteMania Edition V3.0

Okay heres the thing , I want to flash a new roms and I did the same old thing
  1. Wipe data/Factory reset
  2. Wipe cache partition
  3. Go to advance screen and wipe dalvik cache
  4. Install zip from sd card - > choose zip from sd card. Find your ROM in the extSDcard.
  5. Flash the ROM and reboot system.

While flashing , it took so long to actually flash like 10mins or so and I give up and I did a hard reset.

Can anyone point to me where did I do wrong ?

And I'm trying to flash this

TMT4 Jelly Bean ROM for Galaxy Note GT-N7000!

It seems to me that you might have been well advised just to let it run its course, sometimes flashing can take a long long time, imo it's worth trying again, but by you intervening and doing a hard reset - is the phone booting at all now?

Also try re-downloading the ROM and check the checksum (MD5 Hash) is correct to make sure there was no corruption during download.
