Root Help Needed - Home Theme Gone

Hello all,

I've managed to mess up my new LG Volt, and I need some help with the recovery process.

In short, I successfully rooted the phone using the guides posted here. I then downloaded the NoBloat app, and was in the process of removing unwanted bloatware. Everything was going well until I decided to disable the wrong thing.

Specifically, I disabled the LG home theme. Didn't seem like a big deal, but immediately my phone decided to stop working. Currently, I can't access my home screen at all - meaning I can't launch any apps or get any replacement themes. Everything else seems to be working just fine.

I performed a factory reset, but that didn't fix the problem. After the reset, I rooted the phone once more, and verified that SuperSU was installed again.

Two main questions:
1). Is there an alternative way to launch apps besides the home screen? If I can download a different theme, I might be able to fix the problem that way.
2). If that doesn't work, how can I restore the original LG theme?

Thanks!

I don't think that I did. Is there a way to use a new launcher without downloading one through Google Play? As it is, I can't use any of the apps on the phone, so I'm limited to what I can send over through the USB.

Well, it looks I was able to restore the lost functionality by download LGhome.apk, putting it on an SD card, and installing it manually.
