Help help needed, twitter & market not working

hey, I have a HTC Desire for overa year. In the past week it will not load twitter app or market.

Both tell me that the server is unavailable - I can easily access my other apps and websites.

I have tried it from wireless and it is not working that way either.

Any ideas on how to fix it/ what's wrong?
