Good Evening citizens...i invested in a samsung galaxy note gt-i9220 bought from china..but when i go to open up the app market its all in chinese!! how can i get it in english? and if somebody can teach me step by step it would be much appreciated THANK YOU all

What is your location? It sounds like your handset is for the Chinese market. Hopefully there are no hardware differences, so you should be able to either change the language or at worst flash a different ROM.

im in canada the hardware version is i9228.03 i have no idea what it means lol or if its different..i was able to change the language of the phone to english i just reset the phone and theres no app market now. i downloaded the latest android market but it says i have to add an account to the device to continue and i am unable to set up my email because it cannot safely connect to server although my mobile network and data services are up and running

The i9220 appears to be identical to the N7000 in terms of hardware, so your best bet is to find advice on flashing a non-Chinese ROM. I'm sure someone expert on this will be able to help you here :-)

I bought a Galaxy Note off the net and it was sourced from Hongkong. When it arrived it was a Russian version. It's working fine and no issues here in Australia. I think its your location setting. Try going to Settings>Location and Security and uncheck then check the "Use wireless networks" It will ask you to allow google to collect location data. Select Agree and see how you go.
