Help Help! New data cable charges longer than original cable!

I need help!

My LG optimus 2x original cable got chewed on so I had to go buy a new micro usb cable. Bought one but it's not the original LG cable and now it takes more than 5 hours to charge my phone when the original cable does it at 2 hours odd.

May I know why this is happening?

I have the same problem (I use non-original cable at work). And even with the original cable it takes way too long to charge. Frustrating!

It's possible to buy the original charger i think check LG's site
