Root HELP! No root access detected?

I have had my droid rooted with Cyanogen 5.0.4 for about 2 weeks now and i just was looking at setcpu and it said it was running at 600mhz and it wont let me go higher now. I would like to know whats going on and what i can do to get my overclock back.

Did you try going into the settings and clicking on auto-detect again? Maybe something just got fudged up.

Yes i have done that, when i do that i get a pop up saying no root access detected.

uninstall set cpu and reinstall then do autodetect.

Do your other apps have root access? Go into Terminal Emulator and type in "su" (without quotes) and press enter, and if your command line starts with a # then that means you have root access.
