I was using AndRootFile App
and was following to the point
I deleted bootStrapSound.ogg
Now when i boot up , there's no sound ,
Hello Hello Metro is gone
but , anyone know what i can do to put sound back in ?
since i deleted the folder
also i dont know how to put the ogg midi
in that folder , i try copy and paste but didnt work
:(

you need to find a .ogg file, rename it "bootStrapSound" and put it in there... Using androotfile, you can copy paste, but you need to make sure read/write is on for the folder your in, and make sure you click superuser...

Wich folder was deleted exactly. If ui you should have no notification sounds either. Gimme an hour and i'll find a way to re build it for you.

It's looking like you may need to get a full restore to fix that missing folder. Tried five (free) file managing apps and can't make folders on the phone it's self.
