I NEED SERIOUS HELP

I have a Samsung galaxy s2 for AT&T

Whenever I get texts, my phone doesn't vibrate

I checked the settings so that vibration is set to always

I went to the stock messaging app and checked the settings but there is not setting for vibration

Please replay back asap

i double checked all of my notifications, and you are correct - there is no vibration setting for sms/text messages. you did the best you can do by setting vibration to "always", and i do not see anything more you can do.

I am using an app called SMS Popup, it works with the stock messaging app and provides customizable notifications. You have to turn off the stock notifications, and this takes over. It produces a vibration, a stock notification and a pop-up screen (like on iphones) if you like.

Download Sound Manager from the Market and you can set Vibrate Whenever Possible within the Apps Notification Settings. I used it with the stock app and that did allow for vibration with the stock SMS.

Better option is to download GO SMS Pro and use that. I tried the stock for a few days, but GO SMS Pro is so much better. My favorite is that it vibrates and then a message pops up on the phone where you can reply to the message without going into the actual app. Just reply from the message and then the phone goes back to sleep.

You can run both at the same time (but should disable notifications on one unless you want that from both). I ran both for a few days and GO SMS Pro was just much better.
