I've tried everything, notifications are set to always interrupt, power saver is off, I've exchanged the phone for another one, I can't figure out what's going on, I'm using the 2E model.
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
One thing I've noticed about Lollipop is that when disabling screen security, it doesn't give you the option to choose how to handle lockscreen notifications. It only pops up after setting up a security method and will keep whatever option you had selected when you disable the password.
I don't know if this is what happened to you but:
Go into settings>security>screen lock
Select pattern for example.
Go through the prompts to set a pattern then a screen will pop up asking you how to handle lockscreen notifications.
Make sure it is set to "show all notification content" or "hide sensitive notification content" if the "don't show notifications at all" option is checked.
Once you have that option where you want it you can then go back to swipe to unlock or any other method you want but for some reason you can only select that setting while creating some sort of password.
Yes, I have mine set to always show notifications under notifications and sounds as well, but if it's disabled under screen security they will not display. That's the only thing I could think of off the top of my head that would block your lockscreen notifications. Thanks for sharing. I'll try that and see what happens. One thing I did notice is there's a setting under "Sound & notifications" labeled Lock Screen Notifications and it's been set to "always show notifications", I don't know what the deal is with this phone. It's on 5.0.1, and I saw that 5.1 fixed a problem with wifi sleeping when locked on earlier lollipop, but there isn't 5.1 OTA for this phone yet

Thanks for checking up with me. It still failed. But I changed from the ASUS Launcher to L Launcher and it seems I'm getting notifications now...weird. but I contacted Google and Asus about this, neither had an explanation.Any luck??
I've disabled power saver and disabled "hint of ultra save"... would it be safe to freeze the Power Saver app?Ultra power saving mode will disable notifications when sleeping. Also if you went into Auto Start manager and turned programs off to save memory this will basically not even run the programs to provide notifications.
