Welcome Catt96!
Glad to have you here today
What app did you download and what device do you have?
Is it an icon notification or a text (toast) notification?
Perhaps there is a setting withing the app for that.
Hopefully we can figure this out

Hey there and welcome to Android Forums.

If your not sure which app is causing it, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lookout.addetector download that to detect and safely remove

Have you already tried to shove it in the trash can?
