Help Help-Oxygen 2.3.2: Gallery tooo slow

Hello folks,
after a lot of esitation yesterday I have decided to root my Desire and install a brand new rom Oxygen 2.3.2.
I was verey carefully but finally everything went fine. Rooting ok, Nanodroid backup ok, Saved my sms too, partitioning my sd..flashing the just downloaded rom.

These are the problem I have found after few hours of testing
1) Opening gallery takes ages, finally no preview available and when I scroll the different albums it s really slow.

2) I was listening to some mp3 and I decided to use a file manager to clean up my sd card from the garbadge left from all the app I have unistalled. As soon as I delete something the music player stops !!! wtf!!!

3) this morning I wanted to write an sms to a collegue of mine (in french) and I could not find a way to change the typing languages.

Well for just 3 or 4 hours of testing I have to say I am quite disappointed

Someone can help me out to solve these issues??

point #3 is solved. but in the meanwhile I have tested the A2SD function. Before installing the rom I have created a partition on SD card (1GB). Now I am istalling few apps and I have noticed (with a bit of disappointment) that in average the 25% of the application size still go into the htc internal memory.

1 - get QuickPic from market instead, I found the gallery app was slow on any ROM

2 - dunno, autoscan setting maybe picking up changes on SD card?

A2SD doesn't move everything associated with an app, libs for example don't get moved, so internal will still go down a bit. If you're struggling for space you can also move dalvik cache to SD - need to flash separate script to do it, on the Oxygen forum somewhere iirc.

Or look at S-OFF and change partition sizes, as this makes the most of small AOSP ROMs - read the guides and see if it's for you or not.
