Root Help Perpetuating Problem!

EI love my esteem but it has one big issue...the sound randomly goes out every few hours...no ringtone, videos day audio format not supported alarm clock set back to default tone! Etc... Then when i press either of the volume buttons 9/10 times it will make the phone do a quick reset. (it doesn't start from the lg screen it starts from the metro PCS animation.) This problem is occurring up to 6x a day..can anyone pppllllleaaasseee help me!? Everything works perfectly after the phone reboots itself but its rebooting itself all the time oncei press the volume key up or down doesn't matter..btw i have a rooted lg with lg optimizer if that helps any thanks!

is the phone rooted, if so what all have you deleted, if not take it in for a exchange.

Nothing really.just the bloat ware that the lg optimizer does on its own.and i don't wanna return it but if i have to then i will.:-[

run the app restore and unroot the phone for a day and see if the problem still occur, if it does than it may be a defective device. And lg is aware of the rebooting issues also and there is suppose to be a update for that.

i was having the same problem, i un-rooted the phone change back the Metro boot sound, played with it for about an hour w/no problems. i rooted again left the boot sound the same & so far it hasn't happen yet? i sure hate to go to Metro Corp. store & having to deal with them
but if it continue, i'll go to get my moneys worth...
