The problem is since I can't see anything because the screen has been ruined, every suggestion I have come across so far requires me to be able to install something on the phone.
I was able to hook it up to my pc via usb. I copied folders from the phone and the card to my pc. I did a backup via Kies. It said it was successful. However, when I tried to do just the text messages via Kies it only went to 37%.
Yes some of my texts were important. I was trying to get as much off my phone before I call Verizon to get a new one.
