Are you trying to blame me for something that you did? This isn't the place to be talking about smashing two ROMs together. In any case, you didn't explain what exactly you did.

Make sure everything is wiped and then flash a decent nandroid backup.

NO I'm not blaming you I'm blaming myself.

No worries, just be careful. I'd say this phone is pretty hard to mess up, but as long as you have nandroid backups, you should be safe to experiment as much as you want.

I know I sure as hell have. ;)

LOL I BACKEDUP GINGERBREAD WITH YOUR RECOVERY DO YOU STILL WANT IT. DID YOU SAID YOU WANTED SOMETHING ON THE XDA DEVELOPERS FORUMS FORM THE motorolatriumph dude?

I think i did mess something up for real though cause its still saying searching for service. This is what i did i flashed the .nbo file of the Cherrymobile Gingerbread. Backed that up then i did a nandroid restore. I even followed his guide 100% stock nandroid backup!!! - xda-developers that got me back to stock everything except for the lockscreen, buttons, and service. Do you have any ideas?

now my phone will only boot in bootloader.

What do you mean?

Did you boot loop your phone? (i.e. your phone keeps going to the virgin mobile splash and restarting over in a loop)

What is your phone exactly doing when you power up without touching any of the key? (.i.e no bootloader or recovery mode keys pressed).

Try to give a step by step of what you did. It's not clear at all of what went wrong.

Regards,

I messed up my phone by installing the .nbo gingerbread rom. Then i replaced the image folder that i had from stock. Then i installed Isaac's CM7 rom. Isaac did not mess up my phone i did. IM NOT BLAMING ISAAC FOR ANYTHING. I MESSED UP MY PHONE.

Okay i got the phone back working now. This what i did
1. As soon as the phone came on it went into bootloader
2. Pluged it up into my labtop
3. Restored the backup image folder that i backed up.
4. Phone restarted with cherry mobile stuff.

Now i have a hybird rom of cherry mobile stuff and stock. Everything i that had Motorola and Triumph and VirginMobile is gone everything is saying cherry mobile. It's acting like a GSM phone and searching for sim card. The button mapping is totaly off.

Then i replaced the image folder that i had from stock.
What folder? The "MOBILE" folder in bootloader mode?

If so, what did you use to replace the contents of the folder? (i.e. boot.img)?

The "MOBILE" folder will not be restored from a restore from backup.
