Help HELP phone won't connect to odin or boot

Tried to update my firmware with Odin , cannot get PASS to come up for the connection and also now phone won't boot up says use recovery mode on kies or something to that effect , will still go into download mode

PS - i have tried , rebooting pc , removing phone battery , restarting download mode

got it going ,seem to have downloaded bad file first time
