Help Help physically changing screen !! PLEASE!!

I have a brand new Avid that ive dropped a couple of times and its been fine.. well last night it fell and i picked it up and cracked the screen.. the good thing is that altho i dont have insurance on the phone, i do have accesss to another avid that was brand new that cannot be used to hook up for service and is merely for parts.. i just need someone to let me know what things i should specifically be making sure i do or look for when taking apart the phones because this will be the first time im doing this and i just simply want to switch the screens and be done with it.. i have searched every online for help and have come up blank.. please help me.. please..

Hello jeqwag I had same phone and has issues in activating and I visited the stores wre I got the phone, they called manufactures, those guys from manufactures took all my details said will take it as complaint later after a week my phone was fixed, so u call up the manufactures and one more switching the screen sounds good but if u switch the screen both of ur phones will be Out of warranty if u do that, so it
