Help help, pissed off

I tried to import my contacts from my old SIM and Xperia Play didn't recognize any contacts.... so I painstakingly add them all in manually. Then I was having weird phone issues, like people calling and the call not sending through as if I had my phone. So I restarted the phone, took the SD and SIM out and put it in again while it was off. I notice that the phone's physical circuit contact points for the SIM were visible and I looking at the SIM as I had it, may have pushed too far? Perhaps, the metal area of the SIM contact points were slightly not connected? So I pulled the SIM back out a little and felt it get more snug. Anyone notice this?

Other issues, I can't seem be able export my contacts to the SIM card. I checked the manual and it didn't help? Didn't see an export/import icon???

Also EVERY FREAKEN time I take the battery and or sim/SD card the my nicely arranged apps are messed up. How the F#$K do I keep them in place? I have 2 extra EMPTY app pages because I went nuts installing free apps the first 2 days and then I ended up deleting 2 pages worth of worthless apps...

So now as the condition described, the apps and games I have get messed around and it is a pain in the ass arranging them back. ARrrrggggghhh..

In regards to the first issue, I have not noticed that on the handsets we have at this location so this may be an isolated issue.

To import/export contacts with this handset: Main Menu > Contacts > Menu Button > Either "import" or "backup" depending on which way you wish to move the contacts.

Unfortunately this is something I am aware of and to the best of my knowledge there is no way around this at this stage. I do hope there is an update in the future that resolves this so the handset recalls the sort order, but nothing at this stage.

Verizon could not import my contacts from my virgin mobile rumor touch 2. So I bluetooth the contacts one by one, saves alot more time than punching them in one by one. As for the sim issue , eh cant halp you there as for everyphone ive owned has been cdma.
