Root Help please. Need to unroot

Hi I need to unroot my incredible but i dont know how too. Ive looked all over online but it only shows unroot for non 2.2 or incredibles on 2.1's. I need to turn my phone into verizon, but if they catch me im gonna be screwed so i really need to unroot.

easiest way is to flash any stock ruu or use the file in the downgrading thread to flash through bootloader.

Hi Doug. will this also work for the htc desire? Although i'm already on 2.2. Just want to unroot. dont understand it all enough yet. lol thought i was smarter than that.
