Help Help Please !!! Phone Reset deleted play store and Google chrome

Hi everyone,
yesterday i reset my Sony Xperia Z device (running android 4.1.2) to free up the storage space on the device. However when i completed this action the phone most pre- installed apps on the phone such as Google Chrome and the Play store. The phone has not been rooted so i don't know how this has occurred. So please help me.

Install PC Companion on a computer (if you haven't already done so), connect the phone via USB, open PCC and go to Support Zone.

Select 'Start' under Phone/Tablet Software Update

Select Repair my phone

HI thanks for the help. Unfortunately this did not resolve the error as it stated that the phone was up to date and no new updates where found

Did you select the Repair option as advised? That shouldn't check for updates, but instead reinstall the current firmware.



If you did, and it didn't resolve the problem, then I suggest contacting Sony Support for advice.
