Help Help Please! Random Reboot/No Data Connection

Today while at work I noticed that the HTC screen was on my phone. I was not even using it and it had rebooted itself. When it came back on I did not have a data connection. I then turned it off and turned it back on again and it has been fine ever since. I have had this phone since last week and this is the first time it has done this. I am still within the 14 day window so I guess I could exchange it if I want. My boyfriend thinks I should bring it back and ask for a new one, but my fear is that the new one won't really be new and will be one that someone had returned within their 14 days as well. I want to make sure that I have been the only owner of my phone.

What do you guys think? Should I bring it back? It hasn't done it since so I am not sure what I should do.

I'm going on week 3 tomorrow, mine has only rebooted once on its own, well at least once where I saw it happen. Random and occasional reboots I wouldn't worry about, but if it continues on a daily basis, I would exchange it.

You could always return it, tell them at the store that you're having too many issues with it and want to return to your old phone for now and hopefully they'll waive the restocking fee. And then a couple of days later, go back and buy a new one. Shouldn't be a refurb at that point.

But then I would have to pay another $250 so it would be almost as if I bought the phone at retail price :(
