Root help please rom flashing problem

i have just tryed flashing ld-lg zvd alpha2 rom and i did it manually and used the newbie flashing a rom guide and i did everything right and it gets past the lg screen when i try to boot rom and then just a black litup screen

Pull the battery out for at least 30 secs...put it back in and turn on..HOLLA back:)

just plug it in when its off or at the blank screen and the black screen has the leds in the back
 
When you plug it into your computer is the phone recognized:confused:
Grrr wish it was booting into recovery..anyway need to know if CPU sees phone
Crunch time for me work in 1/2 hr;)

when i plug it in to the computer and its is powered on then when it gets the the blank screen it does not recognize the phone should i boot into CWR?

Absolutely you never said you were able to...:confused:

Try to restore your backup in recovery(ohh pls tell me you made a backup) :eek:if no then:

Make sure you have a ROM to flash into other than the ld-lg zvd alpha2 that got us here in the first place
If no ROM get this to your external SD via your CPU http://androidforums.com/esteem-all...m-gingersteem-extreme-ii-lg-esteem-ms910.html
As it does work on ZVD

haha sweet i did make a backup do i have to wipe everything again or just flash the broken rom?

WIPE NOTHING...just go to restore..pick that backup you made...select it..reboot and tell me you are back in business:D

ok its restoriing dont know if it will work but my hopes are high... now while its restoring... do you know why it wouldnt flash the rom?

Could be a few thing..bad download..perhaps you missed a step(it happens-its what make nOObs into pros)

do you mind just posting a real fast gettting to the point like step by step guide because me reading all the extra stuff prob messed me up

all u need to do restore is reboot in two recovery scroll down till u c backbup and restore click on it go to ur restore find the one u backedup click on it and BAM IT should automatically restore once finish just reboot ur phone thats easy Right:)

oh sorry i got it working i forgot to tell you.. i just really want to flash this rom so can u post a little 6 step or so guide telling me how because the step by step guide on the noobies thing messed me up obviously

k when flashing a rom reboot to cwm wipe data / cache / dalvik cache then install zip from sd card scroll down to were u have ur zip file click on it its gonna take u to another page scroll down and install after that reboot ur phone thats it :)

hmm in the guide it said wipe system cache and data on this one menu maybe thats what messed me up

these r the only ones. u wipe ,looks like this

1.data/factory reset
2.wipe cache
3.wipe dalvik cache

you will find dalvik cache in advance
