Root HELP PLEASE...Senseless rom 2.0 stuck at 4G logo on boot

I just had this happen, heres how I got around it, not sure if it was the correct way or not but it worked. I will say after it got booted i got rid of that rom and put another one on.

Pull the battery and do a reset. Hold the volume down and power button to boot up. You will go into the bootloader and it say there is an upgrade. Volume up to select yes, it will go through that then say hit power button to reboot. Reboot and while it is booting up I kept hitting the volume up key during the whole sequence. Once it gets to the 4G screen keep hitting up, it should hang for a little on that screen then it will go into an install saying loading 1 of 74 updates or something like that. Once that finishes it should work.

I also at one point had to pull the SDCard during the boot and do a wipe/factory reset to get it work but only one time.

Not sure if it is us messing up the install or the ROM itself but I am now using RezRom ICS and it installed without a problem and it seems to be running smooth. Only some minor glitches so far but I had no luck with with the Senseless ICS
 
Glad my misery was able to help ya, ha. I was up with this thing till 1am last night trying to get it to work because I need my phone for work @ 5am during the week. It wasn't fun. Glad it helped!!
 
Be careful with that rom, any reboot I attempted I got stuck at the 4G screen unless going through the update stuff. Like mentioned I switched over to the RezRom ICS w/Sense. I also downloaded Quick Boot from the market and I even downloaded the RezRom directly from my phone and installed it due to not getting into recovery with the Senseless Rom I had on here. I wish I knew what the deal was but it is what it is.
 
So far its pretty good. A few minor odd things like flipping between home screens if you slide to fast it will do the spinning. For some reason my battery wont fully charge out either but it gets almost to 100%. I am going to use the battery calibration app to handle the fix though. I had to do it on my OG droid to get it to work. One other minor glitch is I use Handcent SMS, if a text comes through and it does the pop up while the phone is asleep it freezes the slide lock ring for some reason. I just turned off the notification and so far so good. I liked Sense on the stock ROM and this seems to be a good match with ICS.
 
Ive been running senseless rom 2.0 for about a day now...runs smooth but some minor bugs...a pop up window with the "UI stop working" will appear from time to time and the security lockscreen does not actually lock the phone. AZ, i dont know if you have used this rom but for some odd reason beautiful widgets does not work with Nova Launcher, any ideas? Ive used Nova launcher on my Gnex before switching back to my rezound. The rezound to me is a better device....build and spec wise. There really is no comparsion if you own the rezound...
 
I wish i could provide more info on the Senseless Rom but I had to many issues right from the beginning with even booting up. I do remember the UI stopped working message came on a few times. As soon as I was able to actually boot up and get into the system I changed it out for RezRom. I don't know if I had a bad download or what but I didn't have enough time with the ROM to even see what other issues popped up.

I preferred what Sense had to offer with the widgets and everything and chose to use an ICS with it built in. Maybe others who had better luck will chime in on the Senseless but it was a no go for me from the beginning.
 
Does the RezRom look like ICS at all or does it look like stock sense? I was considering flashing to CleanRom...it was just updated today and all of the bugs were fixed....Its the same developer as senseless rom and in his forums it says there will be an update to the senseless rom that will fix all of the bugs with the rom.
 
having the same problem trying to run cm7 but i get froze on boot and cant bring up recovery mode properly .... any other solutions ??? or am i done for ????

For the most part it looks like the stock sense but obviously with some ICS additions. The RezRom doesnt look much different from Cleanrom you are talking about either.

AIT What exactly is happening? What does it do before it freezes? Isn't CM7 for older androids?
 
Question...why is it that every time i flash a different rom on the rezound i have to keep pressing the volume up key when you turn the phone on? i literally have to keep pressing it until it gets to the "4G" logo screen? Also why is it with RezRom when the phone is restarted or even a battery pull..it takes the phone at least 10 min to show your stuff on your memory card (pictures, listen to music).
