Help Help please to downgrade from jb4.2 to jb4.1. 4.1

I have a galaxy tab 2 7.0 p3110 with jellybean 4.2.2 rooted with cyanogenmod 10.1.3. I'm also using clockworkmod. I want to downgrade to jellybean 4.1 since jb4.2 sucks but I never made any nadroid backup. My concern is the cyanogenmod 10.1.3 is not compatible with jb4.1 so I need to first remove that then somehow flash a stock jb4.1 ROM but I have no idea how to go about this. I'm not a total noob with this stuff but I'm by no means a tech head either. Can anybody help me please?

The main reasons I want to downgrade is to pair Bluetooth a wiimote which 4.2 doesnt allow as well as apps2sd function was removed with 4.2 but both those capabilities are available with 4.1 so if u have a way to get the wiimote paired using my current setup then I'll leave everything as is but it would be nice to move apps to sd again.

Hi

I'm no expert with cyanogenmod however i think you are slighty confused:

Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 is an operating system based upon android 4.2. On your tab it has replaced the stock operating system. Your tab has only cyanogenmod installed, not android 4.2 as well.

Clockworkmod is a custom bootloader which has replaced the stock bootloader. It is the software which tells your phone what to do when you turn it on (amongst other things)

Your phone is rooted (must be to have cyanogenmod installed) but the rooting process does not depend upon either cyanogenmod or clockworkmod - although it was probably done at the same time. Rooting just gives you access to system files which are otherwise protected. It like administrator access in windows.

In order to get android 4.1 back:

Either flash (trendy word for install) cyanogenmod 10.0 (based on android 4.1)
or
Flash stock android 4.1.

You need to research how to do this yourself really. Make sure any ROM you flash (either custom or stock) is definitely the right one for your exact device/model. They are not interchangeable. Flashing roms is not hard and is almost always successful but do be completely sure of what you are doing BEFORE you do it. Ask in the all thing root forum Galaxy Tab 2 - All Things Root - Android Forums and read all you can about it!

Hope this helps

Roger

Would that be achievable by simply downloading a 4.1 stock ROM zip then booting into recovery and installing from SD card? That's how I installed cyanogenmod. Or do I have to go thru the whole Odin process again. My device came stock with 4.1 so I know it's compatible with the tablet my concern is getting back to that without ruining my tablet

Would that be possible by simply downloading a 4.1 rom zip and installing from SD? My tablet came stock when I bought it with 4.1.i upgraded to 4.2 then rooted but was only after that I realized how bad 4.2 os is and want to go back to original jb4.1
