Help Please

I am new to the Android world and phones. My wife had the G1 and she is looking for an app that will allow her to see that she has a msg, missed call, etc... when the screen has timed out. Her G1 had a light that flashed.

Something that I would like to find is an app that would allow me to answer a call without having to do the slide thing.

We are using the Vibrant.

Give "Missed Reminder" a try.

NoLED is a common app for this - it shows missed texts/emails/calls (also an "other" category) by having a small dot on the screen; don't worry, it moves around some *paranoid about burn-in*

Installed NoLed and couldn't get it to work...Played with it and figured this out...NoLed and NoLock don't play well together...NoLock must having locking enabled to work...Thanks for the responses
