Root Help please

Hey guys im an owner of the moto droid (first one) and I have recently rooted it. it was all going fin until I decided to get smoked glass everything seemed fine until I installed it using SPRecovey. It got to the last step and finished I had to reboot It has been stuck on the moto start up screen for 16 hours now i tried several times to take out the battery and every thing I could think of so please if you can help HELP.

If you have a way to put an SD card in your computer you can Download a few ROMS and Kernels on it then put it back in the Droid and manually Reboot into recovery by holding down the X button while powering on the phone. Make sure you plug it in or have a full battery when you do this. Hope this helps, others may have a better idea but this should work. PS. try the Project Elite 4.2 ROM if your phone can handle 1100mhz kernel.
 
After you pull the battery and put it back in, open the keyboard and hold down the 'x' key while you press the power button for 3 seconds. Continue to press the 'x' key until you see the 'M' logo. Release the 'x' key and you should boot into recovery. Restore your nandroid backup. You did make a backup before flashing, right?

After you restore and boot back up you might want to download ROM Manager from the market and flash the ClockworkMod recovery before trying again. Clockwork doesn't require you to rename the file to update.zip, you can just flash the .zip file by choosing its name off the sdcard.

edit: dogg got here first. Are you flashing a theme or full rom? If you want the full rom, I also recommend Project Elite 4.2 or BB 0.6.2.1. I can't decide which I like better. The bronze theme looks great on either.
