Hi im new to this forum
i have just pluged my galaxy 5 into kies and updated the firmware when it said but for some reason it still says its running on 2.1 have a done something wrong?

this is what it says it is PDA:JK3 / PHONE:KA3 / CSC:JK1 (XEU) << is that 2.2

would really appriate it if someone can help

No bud, 2.2 has not officially been released, so you wont get it via Kies YET, its rumoured to be coming in March.There is un-official ways to upgrade to Froyo 2.2, google and you will find info.
You have updated to a newer 2.1 firmware, hope this helps.
