Root HELP! Please..

Okay so I've had a lot of problems with my phone charging and yesterday it decided to completely stop. I left it on the charger all night with the phone off and still just shows a red battery with the lightening symbol in it. I have it situated finally where the red status light is on. I've tried two different batterys and different chargers all with the same result. I've tried letting set for a couple of hours alone with no changes. So now my next step was to call VM and try to get a replacement but will they send one with it rooted, having CWM recovery on it, and MUIU Rom installed? Also is there anything I can do to get it back to stock?

You could try using a different USB cable if you have one, otherwise you'll have to buy a new one. If that doesn't fix it then you will probably need a replacement.


EDIT: The ROM shouldn't affect if the battery charges or not, but I guess it's worth a shot too.
EDIT 2: You can send it back with a custom ROM and CWM and they probably won't really care. I don't even think they check.
 
I would ask for a replacement, and when they send it charge your battery in that, then use it in the old one to return it to stock. I would also make sure to tell the truth if they ask about rooting or that sort of thing, usually they haven't cared when it comes to this phone, but technically they can say it voids the warranty.

I can't turn my phone on. I don't have a way to charge the battery.

I do need a replacement but I want to try and make everything stock before i send it back.. My laptop can sometimes recognize it.

Right and that's what I'm scared of. I don't have the money to just buy another phone right now so I want to try everything I can to reset back to stock. Is there any other way to charge a battery without having it in the phone?
