Hey all...I have had my Evo V for about 2 weeks now. I put a 32gb Sandisk in it. I plugged it into my computer using the cable that came with the charger. I wanted to transfer music and stuff to my phone. My computer will show the phone is there, but won't install a driver for it. I went to HTC and downloaded the driver and the computer still won't recognize the phone in a way I can move any files to it.

I have a completely stock phone except for basic banking, espn, and apps like that which I installed.

Thanks for the help!

When the phone is plugged in by USB, you should just have to open the notification bar at the top, touch the USB connected notification and select storage instead of charge and then hit apply at the bottom. If you don't want it to always default to storage, make sure the little box is unchecked

Went to try this, and when I did, didn't have to do anything...just worked. But thanks for the advice because it made me want to try again!
