my Samsung transform ultra has been freezing up for awhile... I called boost.. they told me to do a hard reset. so I did.. the phone worked for about 2 weeks .then it started to bug out on its own..so I held down the volume button with start until I got the little android guy on the screen.. I then tried to update..or clear cache... I tried everything... the phone started to go crazy turning itself on and off... it still does it...everytime I try to turn it on it just keeps doing that... then it says E:cant find misc... and under that it says E:update logfile does not exist.. I cant do anything at all the phone just doesn't stay on long enough to try anything... and mind you its a brand new battery.. I just bought 2 weeks ago... does anybody know how to fix it...I would greatly appreciate the feedback
1. I hate having to be that guy, but please don't create multiple threads for the same problem. It clutters the forums, making it harder for others to receive the help they need. I know it's difficult to not panic when a device you rely on misbehaves, but someone once said "patience is a virtue" and "good things come to those who wait".

2. The "E: can't find misc" isn't anything to worry about. The recovery (screen with the android guy in the background...or something - been way too long since my phone's been stock

) is just complaining that it isn't able to locate a resource it thinks it needs. As it turns out, the phone works perfectly fine without "misc". As for the other error, does it show this when you try to do something in the recovery, or does it show it immediately after the "can't find misc"?
3. Please elaborate on "the phone doesn't stay on long enough to do anything at all" and "I tried everything". Please be as detailed as possible on every step you take (or have taken since the problem started), every button you press, and the exact behavior of the phone. The more information you give me (and ultimately, the rest of the community), the better and quicker we can help you find the right solution to your problem.
Now, just off the top of my head, and based off of the information already provided, I'm guessing that this is your current situation: 1) You press and hold the power button on the top of the phone until the Samsung logo appears; no other buttons are pressed, and the phone is not connected to anything. 2) The phone boots into the stock recovery, shows four options and the two errors. 3) After a couple minutes (or possibly even a few seconds) have passed, the phone restarts, and goes right back to the recovery screen. Am I in the ballpark?
