Root Help please

Hi, I have a bit of a problem.
I deleted the partition cache by accident and now my stock nexus5 will not come out of splash screen.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Just want to double check - is your phone a Nexus 5 or a Nexus S?

I've moved your thread to the Nexus 5 All Things Root section as, given the nature of your problem, I assume your phone is rooted (and other users of the same phone would be the best to help you out).

It should be relatively straight forward to sort your phone though... you could use Wugs toolkit (available here - http://www.wugfresh.com/) - an all in one tool that you download on to your computer, which installs all drivers and can reflash to stock (be used to unbrick)

Hmm. If you download the factory image from here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#hammerhead
I believe you can extract the cache.img from it and flash it with fastboot.

fastboot flash cache cache.img

I'll see if I can get the cache.img for you. I'm mobile so, not sure if I'll be able to right now or not.
