Root Help plz

So i just flashed my first rom with no problems.
I flashed Kingdom Synergy I believe and its really cool and all, but my battery drains extremely fast.
Any suggestions on a better rom?

MikG v2.5 is available now, if you like Sense-based ROMs like Synergy, that should really work for you. It's similar, but far lighter.

Also, try flashing a kernel and using setcpu (after doing some reading, of course), it will let you tweak performance a bit.

I would recommend checking the list on the downloads page and trying different combos til you find something you like that works well. Give each a day or two to decide if you don't have any glaring issues right away.

If you like Synergy, you can try and trouble shoot what is happening with your battery life and see if it can be solved. First thing I would do is download the battery calibration app, charge the phone to 100%, calibrate the battery, and reboot the phone before you unplug it. Let it sit for an hour or so after that then go to settings>about phone>battery and see if your awake time and up time are the same. If they are the same or very close, go to battery use and see what is at the top of the list. Some roms take a couple days to settle in.

I also seem to be noticing less battery life on the newer sense roms. Oh well. I am withing either a wall or usb port more than 60% of the day, and my batter lasts easily 75% of the day.

Yeah, try other kernels, and setcpu is a fun little thing.
Possibly try an AOSP rom, those are nice too.
