Help help plz!

all day yesterday i was driving a friend around constantly using my phone which was working perfectly. then we went inside a store, came out and the bottom right hand corner of the screen had turned a dark purple color. so i left my phone alone all night. i just checked it and the whole screen is covered in purple and dark blue. it still makes noises and i can barely see through it to txt and make calls. does anyone know why it may be doing this??? i have the Samsung Stratosphere btw. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated

Do a battery pull reset, with the phone powered on, remove the back cover and pull the battery out, reinsert the battery, then power up the phone. If the problem continues this likely a hardware issue, I would take it in to your local VZW store or call tech support.
